Hotline / Open Collective Stewards
Athens Mutual Aid Network
5 volunteers - sign up to volunteerAthens Mutual Aid Network has transitioned all of our fundraising and fund management to opencollective.com, where we have been approved as a fiscally sponsored project. We are looking for 5-6 people who would be the team managing the funds donated to the mutual aid network through this platform. At least one member of the team needs to be available to attend the Sunday AMAN meetings at 2pm to give a weekly update.
Stewards will coordinate with each other to process hotline needs requests, approving invoices and reimbursement requests, and distributing funds to neighbors in need who are not eligible for other services. Open Collective automates all of the spreadsheets and data tracking. Stewards will have an active role in shaping the procedures and culture in distributing monetary aid.
